Chicken Sausage Flatbread

Ingredients:

  • 1 Trader Joe’s flatbread

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp garlic spread (Trader Joe’s)

  • 1–2 tsp Calabrian chili sauce

  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1–2 chicken sausages, cooked and sliced

  • 1 to 1½ cups freshly shredded mozzarella

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • Handful of arugula

For finishing:

  • Burrata

  • Balsamic glaze

  • Hot honey

Instructions:

Preheat the oven:

 Preheat to 425°F.

Build the base:

 Brush flatbread lightly with olive oil.
Spread garlic spread evenly, then add Calabrian chili sauce.

Layer:

 Mozzarella (first layer)

  1. Red onion slices

  2. Cooked chicken sausage

  3. More mozzarella (second layer)

  4. Sprinkle of dried oregano

This double-cheese layer helps everything melt together and hold structure.

Bake:

  • Cheese is melted and slightly bubbly

  • Crust is golden and crisp

Finish strong:

 Top immediately with:

  • Fresh arugula

  • Torn burrata

  • Balsamic glaze

  • Hot honey
